The slide and more Animal Kingdom

We found out this trip that the kids love the classic Disney cartoons.....good thing they had them running 24/7. While they were watching t.v. Michelle, Ben, and I went down to the pool to swim and check out the slide. Dad and Greg came out a little while later.

The resort had 2 pools.....one was for family with the slide and it also had some fountains in the center.

The other pool was called the "quiet pool"....meant for adults and had cabanas around it that you could rent. Here is a photo of Michelle and Ben with the pool in the background.

My dad had asked if anyone was interested in going to Animal Kingdom for a little bit. Everyone was tired except me, so I ventured out with him. It took us some time to get there on the bus so we didn't arrive until 4pm.....the park closes at 5. We booked it and went on 3 rides in 1 hour.

First up: Expedition Everest
This is a newer ride and we had never been on it before. We were upset to find out that it was shut down for some reason. Will it be open in time for us to ride it?

We journeyed over to Kali River Rapids and got soaked!!!! While making our way back to Expedition Everest we heard someone say that the ride was up and moving again. Yeah!!!! We got there just in time and didn't have to wait very long at all. I am glad that I got a chance to experience this ride. It was a lot of fun.

It was about 10 til 5 and we thought that we could make one more ride. We practically ran to Primeval Whirl and ended up being the last ones on the ride.

We also got a chance to see the characters saying goodbye to everyone while leaving the park. Look at how silly Goofy is!!!
