Michigan Nascar Race


On Sunday we took a short drive to the Michigan International Speedway with our friends Brad, Kristie, Caleb, and Mari. This has become an annual thing for us to get together for one race a year. Each year we have tried to go to a different racetrack. Who knows where we will go next year!

We got to the track early so that we could tailgate. Bring on the hotdogs!! Here is what they look like after you leave them on the grill way too long!!

We actually got up a few times and walked out by the trailers. We found this race to be a bit boring. It did end very well. 2 cars ran out of gas on the very last lap!!! The weather was awesome! Until next year............

Haha! It's nice to know another female, besides myself, likes NASCAR. I would die to go to a race. We root for #17 Matt Kenseth. Where Jack used to work, R & L Carriers, was one of his sponsors. I have to hear about all the red neck jokes about people who like NASCAR all the time. I don't care, I still love it! Glad you had a great time!
