M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!!!!!!

On Thursday night we went to Disney on Ice. This was our first experience with taking Kayla and Jordan to a full length (2 hour) show. For that reason we decided that we would get seats close enough to hopefully keep them interested. We were in the 2nd row and the 1st half went by so fast. They had a lot of characters that the kids knew. They were so excited....."Mickey, Minnie.....Mickey, Minnie"....."Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Goofy". Mickey's Clubhouse is one of their favorite shows right now so they of course always have to name every single character. :)

During intermission we got them some cotton candy (1st time ever for this wonderful treat). They ate it up so fast...I couldn't believe it.....well, I guess it is pure sugar!!

By the second half they were getting tired and there were characters that the kids did not know (had not seen the movies). Jeromy and I started struggling for a few acts until Mickey and Minnie came to the rescue near the end and the kids perked right up.

(These pics were actually at the beginning of the second half. Everyone got up to march to the Mickey Mouse March including Kayla.)

After the show was over the characters came around and shook hands. Since we were so close the kids got to shake hands with Donald, Daisy, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Snow White, and many others that I didn't take pics of. Jordan went right up to Pumbaa and gave him a big hug right around his snout. It was so adorable and I missed the opportunity for a pic or video. Well........there is always next May when we are Disney World.
