Spiderman and Shoes

The kids have started falling in love with dress-up!!! They each received many outfits for their birthday.

Jordan got a fireman outfit and a spiderman outfit. I don't know why we chose this super hero over any other......we just did and now he has a few things featuring him. He was so excited to try on this outfit from his grandparents....and to show it off to Daddy!

Kayla has become obsessed with shoes.....already!!!! She loves to try on and walk in Mommy's shoes. She is pretty good at it, to the point that she can run in heels without falling. She now has a few princess dresses and also this really cute flapper outfit.

Lauren's Baptism

Our niece Lauren was baptized on Sunday. She is now 3 months old and getting bigger every day. She was very good during the baptism (she slept through the entire thing). Look how adorable she was in her outfit!!

The kids had a great time at Uncle Jason and Aunt Katie's house!!!

Indians Baseball Game

Jeromy's office had a company picnic at an Indianapolis Indians baseball game. This was the 2nd time that we had taken the kids. Flashback to last year when we only got to stay for about 2 innings (we hit meltdown because of it being way past bedtime). This year we decided to try and watch the game from the lawn. We made it until about the 4th inning and then decided to call it a night. We all had a great time and I think that the kids entertained everyone that was sitting around us. For a treat we got an ice cream cone to split and the kids devoured it! We also let them drink from normal water bottles (which doesn't happen very frequently). Suprisingly, they did an awesome job with it. I hope that you enjoy the pics below.....I was messing around with my camera.

Peekaboo! Can you find me?

Naptime can be a challenge.....we never know where the kids will end up sleeping. I went to check on them the other day and well, you will see from the pictures..... Interesting enough this is the only time that they have done this--at least that we know of.

Lucas Oil Stadium

Colts football season has begun! Since we are season ticket holders we got to see the stadium on Sunday including the locker room and was able to walk on the field. It was a great opportunity and one that we will never forget. We didn't take the kids although we eventually hope that we can get seats for them and they can join us in cheering for the Colts.

Indiana State Fair Fun

On Saturday we went to the State Fair. This was the first time that we had gone as a family. There was a lot of things to do and see. The kids did Little Hands on the Farm--this is an interactive play area to help them see what happens on a farm. They got to feed animals (pretend of course), plant seeds, ride on a tractor, and at the end they got money for all of their hard work. They each bought a granola bar with their dollars. We also went to the dairy barn and bought grill cheese sandwiches for lunch...yummy!! They got to see pigs, sheep, cows......ponies and an elephant (rides were being given--maybe next year). It was very enjoyable...look forward to next year!!

Where did that name come from?

You are probably wondering about the blog name. Kayla started calling Jordan "Bubby" because I started calling him that. I thought that it was cute and also easier for her to say. I then realized that their school would call Jordan the same name so it kind of stuck. Now when I say call Jordan she yells "Bubbyyyyyyyyy". So adorable.

We have no clue where "Nana" came from. One day we realized that Jordan was calling Kayla that. It took a while to figure out what that word was supposed to be for. Who knows the reasoning on it but they both know that when Jordan says "Nana" that he is meaning Kayla.

Splash Park Fun

Today we journeyed for the first time to Inlow Splash Park. The kids were not too sure of the water at first and it took a little bit of time to feel comfortable. Soon they were having a great time with their friends Sophia and Marisa. I now know that I can take both of them by myself and it will be o.k. :) Hopefully we will have more fun playdates at the splash park.
