Yo Gabba Gabba....Music is Awesome!!!!
On March 21st we took the kids to their first "rock concert"/show. Yo Gabba Gabba is a popular television show among preschoolers right now. When I first saw this show I thought that it was very strange and told myself that I wasn't going to let the kids watch it. Somehow they ended up getting a book from daycare and it was all over after that. I do have to admit that now I don't mind the show. It has good messages and the songs are so catchy that they get stuck in your head......ask any of my fellow coworkers. :)
We decided to purchase the VIP package which allowed us to have snacks and drinks prior to the performance and also a chance to take pictures with the characters. Little did we know that we would get some one on one time with DJ Lance Rock.
The day was a cold and gloomy one.....here the kids are waiting to get inside the beautiful Fox Theatre in St. Louis for the show.
Once we checked in we were allowed all the drinks and food that we wanted.
Next up were all of the characters....Kayla and Jordan could hardly contain their excitement. It was very cool to see them in such awe. Also, they were definitely not afraid of them!!!

DJ Lance was very cool!!! He talked to the kids first...then when I thought that he was going to bend down to take a picture he surprised us all by picking both of them up. The kids loved it as you can see on their faces. Oh, and when we took the family photo he said his signature "Awesome!!!!!" which was hilarious.
I took a little interview with Jordan before the show started: those balloons on the ceiling did drop down as you will see a little later.
Now it was time for the show to begin....come with me and enjoy as we reminisce.........
Jumpy Jump Jump.......what a blast!!!!!
Let's get the sillies out!!!!
Dancey Dance time!!!!!
Biz Markie and Aquabats
Hop Hop Hop!!!!
There's a party in my tummy!!
Everyone had a great time. Thanks Yo Gabba Gabba for bringing your party to our city.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
We had Thanksgiving this year with the Richardson side of the family. This year we got to spend about 4 days in Plymouth. This time gave us plenty of opportunities to share some fun and not so much fun moments with the family.....not so much fun (screaming kids because their schedules were off...no naps, not going to bed at a decent hour....you know, those type of moments).
Very cute moment: Jordan and Vada dancing as we watch the Macy's parade.
Kayla, Jordan, and Vada are becoming quite the trio of mischief!!!
Here they are doing puzzles and messing with a Nintendo DS. Is it time for handheld video games already?
Little Jackson (who by the way is not so little for a 7 month old) was so adorable. Kayla was loving on him the entire weekend. She was acting just like a little mommy.
Jackson dancing......the girls decided to show him how it is done
As I was going through my photos I realized that I did not get a family shot of our family on Thanksgiving. Here is a cute one of Andrew, Jessica, Vada, and Jackson.
A rare photo opportunity of the 2 little princesses!!
Dinner was wonderful and delicious!! We also had a very nice time visiting with our friends the Martins' and the Schoolmans'.
